1. When can we hope for prosperity and pleasure?
Ans. If we pay attention to small but important issues of social behaviour and civic sense, and if these things are set right, we can hope for prosperity and pleasure. Thus we can call ourselves civilized.
2. Why do many a sensitive being suffer while moving on the road?
Ans. Nowadays, movement on roads has become so dreadful and unsafe that it affects the nervous system of many a sensitive being. So, they feel quite uncomfortable while moving on the road and become agitated.
3. What has hampered our glory?
Ans. This regard to small but important issues has hampered our glory. These small issues are noise pollution, traffic sense, travel by public transport, encroachment, cleanliness, etc.
4.’We are used to uncleanliness’, what do you understand by this statement?
Ans. We are supposed to keep our surroundings clean so that we can protect ourselves from various diseases and keep ourselves in a healthy environment. In spite of knowing, we spread rubbish wherever we live. The dirty things are thrown all around like on roads, in public, transport, educational institutions, historical monuments, govt. buildings, etc. We do not spare even holy places of worship.
