Uses Of Future Tense:-

  • The future tense is used to express an opinion, thinking, comparison, etc of the speaker about the future.
  1. She will get first division.
  2. We shall find the teacher at home,
  3. My brother will sell his car.
  • It can be used with the habitual action of the future which may occur in the future according to us.
  1. Summer will come again.
  2. Monkeys will not build nests.
  3. People will plow their fields.
  4. We shall take the exam.
  • With Conditional sentence type-1                                                                                                                               If+Present+Future
  1. If you come to me, I’ll help you,
  • With time clause to denote Future (Future+Time Clause in Present)
  1. We’ll go home when he comes.

Uses Of Future Continuous Tense:-

  • Like a normal Continuous Tense-
  1. The students will be studying.
  2. The teacher will be teaching them.
  • To express Future without intention (without the involvement of subject)-
  1. I will be seeing Ms. Rita tomorrow. We work in the same office.
  2. We will be travelling next Sunday at this time,

Uses Of Future Perfect Tense:-

  • This tense is used for work that is going to end at a fixed time in the future.
  1. He will have returned home by next month.
  • This tense is used with time indicating clauses.
  1. When you come back, I shall have bought the book.
  • Generally, by+time or by the end of (time) is given in the starting or ending of these sentences.
  1. They will have finished their work by evening.
  2. We shall have made this building by the end of March.

Uses Of Future Perfect Continuous Tense:-

  • This tense is used for work that is going to continue for a fixed period of time in the future.                                             By+time+Future Perfect Continuous+since/for+time         or                                                                                              Time clause in Present+Future Perfect Continuous+since/for+time
  1. When he arrives here, they will have been playing since 3 O’clock.
  2. By the end of this month, we shall have been working here for two months.
